Second in the ongoing series of Christian films based on best-selling novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, TRIBULATION FORCE follows up where the enormously popular LEFT BEHIND left off. Confusion and chaos ensue after the mysterious vanishings of millions of people, and U.N. Secretary General Nicolae Carpathia (Gordon Currie) seeks to pacify the world with a new temporal ideology, one in which religion would be made obsolete. A group of rebels, cognizant of the nefarious Carpathia's true identity, form the Tribulation Force to combat his foretold rule of darkness and to save as many souls as they can. As prophesied in the Bible, witnesses of God have descended to Earth in Jerusalem, and Carpathia refuses them a public audience. The reporter Buck Williams, played by Kirk Cameron (TV's GROWING PAINS), and pilot Ray Steele (Brad Johnson) infiltrate Carpathia's tight circle of power to inform the world of God's message--via live television. Interwoven throughout the film is the budding love story between Buck and Chloe Steele, Ray Steele's daughter played by Janaya Stephens, although the two exchange no more than a kiss on the cheek. The short documentary BARTOLOMEW'S GIFT explores the power of spirituality in overcoming disability and discouragement. Despite being afflicted with arthrogryposis, a muscle condition that affects the range of motion in the joints, Bartolomew Gee has become a talented and accomplished pianist. Using home video footage from Gee's entire life, the film shows how he was able to fight against his condition with the help of his parents and their belief in God. With a positive and uplifting message about the power of faith, BARTOLOMEW'S GIFT is an inspiring documentary.

This A&E History Channel special delves into new evidence that shows that the disasters described by the Bible have more historical accuracy than was previously thought and were not simply metaphors to illustrate the Bible`s message.
