A presentation of music from the traditions of both the Jewish and Catholic religions, CAELESTIA collects songs from the Sephardic liturgy and Gregorian Chants. Performed in the Sao Bento Monastery in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the music is performed by the Benedictine Monks who reside there. With the intention of promoting communication and understanding between religions, Fortuna has selected such songs as Regina Caeli, La Consagracion do Moyses, Yedei Rashim, and Salve Regina.
